At Lodge Garage, on Horseshoe Close in Brent Cross, London NW2, our technicians are IMI Level 1 and 2-qualified to work safely on electric and hybrid vehicles, allowing us to carry out servicing with confidence.

Routine servicing on EVs still includes important checks such as braking systems, suspension, tyres, cooling systems, and software diagnostics. Using manufacturer diagnostic systems, including ISTA, Xentry, PIWIS, and ODIS, we are able to communicate directly with vehicle systems to identify faults and carry out the correct servicing procedures.

Many electric vehicles come from premium manufacturers, and as BMW/MINI, Mercedes, and SMART vehicle specialists, we regularly work with these marques alongside other makes and models. Our aim is to ensure EV owners receive the same careful attention and professional servicing that modern electric vehicles require.

Please note that we cannot change or work on the EV battery (also known as the traction battery). This work is usually best handled by the manufacturer under your vehicle warranty.
